Abstract

E-RIHS («European Research Infrastructure for Heritage Science», www.e-rihs.eu) is a research infrastructure for the development of research in cultural and natural heritage, in aspects including its interpretation, conservation, documentation and management.E-RIHS is organized as a distributed infrastructure, with a central hub (in Florence, Italy) and national nodes. It will provide tools and advanced services, developed by transdisciplinary research teams, to scientific users working in the advancement of knowledge on heritage and innovative strategies for its conservation. By means of concerted procedures between participants, E-RIHS will provided integrated access to the most advanced analytical technologies and scientific archives through its four platforms: FIXLAB, MOLAB, ARCHLAB and DIGILAB. This work presents E-RIHS, the advancements in the establishment of the European research infrastructure and in the creation and structuring of the spanish national node, E-RIHS.es.
