Abstract

Quantifying time is clue to understand the evolution and the geological processes that shape our planet.Scientific research that is linked to the question of when these events happened (geochronology), is important to have a global and contextualized vision that allows us to understand, why or how,the evolution and geological processes happened.Geochronology is developing new applications both for dating events and for understanding climatic and geological processes, such as volcanic eruptions, sedimentary processes and landslides, and for archaeometric purposes.Currently, prehistory and heritage sciences want to achieve a holistic and scientific vision of everything related to them. That is why several works focused from a transdisciplinary point of vieware presented.
