Abstract
An adult femur, tibia and patella are studied. The bones belong to an ossuary recovered from the Church Santa María de la Soledad (Almansa, Albacete) dated between the XIII and the XVIII centuries. The three bones show a high degree of ankylosis. The tibia and the patella are displaced from their anatomical position. We propose two alternative diagnoses: a possible trauma on distal femur or tuberculosis infection.
